Live Trainboard

The Live Trainboard is a naked printed circuit board (PCB) measuring 453mm in width and 298mm in height. It features a detailed map of Switzerland, highlighting major rail routes, key towns, and scenic lakes. With 310 LEDs, the board illuminates in real-time to display the positions of trains on Switzerland’s main railway lines.
Powered by our in-house developed software, the Live Trainboard processes thousands of data points daily to provide regular updates on train locations, departures, arrivals, and delays. Connected via Wi-Fi, the board refreshes every minute, delivering an immersive and dynamic experience.
The Live Trainboard offers multiple viewing modes:
Normal Mode: In its standard mode, the Live Trainboard displays real-time train movements, with LEDs lighting up to show train positions on the Swiss railway network. Each train line is assigned a distinct color, making it easy to differentiate between routes creating a captivating experience that balances design and functionality.
Rewind Mode: Replay the last 45 minutes of train movements across the rail network by simply pressing the button on the board.
Delay View: Each Trainboard comes with an assigned configuration page to display live delay information. Once the delay page is activated, trains are color-coded based on punctuality:
Green – On time
Orange – 2-5 minutes late
Red – More than 5 minutes late

Additionally, the board can be effortlessly customized by removing the frame around the Trainboard to suit the user’s preferences.
